In this video, I invite you to join me on my 108 sun salutations challenge – you’re welcome to join me for one day, 7 days or 108 days! Let’s see 🙂
Why 108? Well, the number 108 has many important and symbolic meanings in a range of diverse disciplines, from mathematics to religions and spiritual practices, martial arts and yoga. I would say 108 is just powerful. A friend of mine once explained to me that after 108 sun salutations you have a free wish—for you or a friend. You can use this special technique to manifest things in your own life or, for example, if a friend has a very important exam or interview, you can simply dedicate your 108 sun salutations to this friend. I have tried this practice myself and it is really working for me. Aside from that, the 108 sun salutations help keep you physically and mentally fit.
Why 108 days? Well, who wouldn’t want to make 108 wishes in your life instead of just one?! It’s a challenge for both your body and mind and, last but not least, it’s a lot fun. Of course, you don’t need to join me for all 108 days if you don’t have time to commit each day; you’re welcome to join the challenge and just participate once or twice a week. It’s up to you, so follow this challenge at your own pace. For those of you who wish to join the challenge on a daily basis, I advise you not to practice more than 6 times a week. Always allow yourself at least one full day of rest to recuperate. Also, be aware that the 3rd or 4th consecutive day of practice is often quite difficult. However, if you keep practicing beyond that point, the challenge will feel easier.
A little recommendation: Try to find a friend to practice with. Not only is it more fun to practice with a buddy, you can also count together, as it can be really easy to lose track!
Have fun and keep me posted!
Happiness is an inside job.
