As I like to say: happiness is an inside job. So the bad news is that you have to do something about it. And you have to do it every day, not just here and there. The good news is that once you have created a healthy daily routine, an island of calm and balance, you are no longer so dependent on the circumstances around you to be happy. You are happy and can deal with life’s ups and downs much more easily.
Struggles with unhealthy lifestyle habits or health problems simply drain a lot of energy to be productive, creative and bring out the best in yourself. We all need struggles to move forward because we never grow in our comfort zone. However, the trick is to use the struggles positively to learn and grow and not get distracted, stressed or depressed or even give up on the dream.
