Mallorca Tips 2024

Mallorca/Spain

The German travel guide ‘Mallorcas Vielfalt entdecken’  invited me to give my opinion as an “islander” and I hope there are a few golden nuggets for you.
I’m always happy when I can express my love for Mallorca and share my favorite places with you.
As this is a German guide, I have included a screenshot of the German version, but for everyone else I have also made it available in English.
That’s my small selection for 2024. There is so much more I would love to share with you about this beautiful and diverse island – so contact me anytime if you have any questions. In the comments or by email.

A place where it’s not just the food that makes you happy
Do you know restaurants where everyone leaves somehow happy? That’s how I feel when I look around Organic. Is it the delicious food (for me there are also vegetarian options), or is it the beautiful decoration of the individual dishes or the restaurant? Is it the wonderful view of the sea or perhaps the friendly team? I don’t know. But I always feel very comfortable and see beaming, relaxed faces and empty plates all around me.

Learn Spanish with Leni
If you want to learn Spanish, you should get to know the wonderful Leni. You can take language lessons with her at fair prices, whether privately or in a group. Whether in person near Manacor or online via Skype. What I can guarantee you. Leni brings just as much warmth as knowledge and patience.

What few people know
The area around Son Macia, where I live, is very popular with cyclists. If you like being in the saddle, then it’s a must. But the area is also worth a visit. For me, this corner of Mallorca is very different from the rest: the small, flat hills sometimes remind me of Tuscany and I have given it the name Hobbit Land. Here you can enjoy a beautiful sunset and the small village café stands for authentic Mallorcan flair, simplicity and fresh Mallorca gossip.

A wonderful countryside Hotel & Spa
If you like the relaxed country life on Mallorca and are looking for a hotel near the east coast, the Aumallia Hotel & Spa is the place for you. If you’re lucky, you can see all 4 generations of the family business sitting around the family table on Sundays. I love the mix of tradition and modernity and the spa and yoga hall are my favorite places there. I also teach yoga there twice a week. So maybe I’ll see you there.

Life is better in flip flops
There are so many beautiful little bays on the east coast, but the most beautiful of them have to be reached on foot and don’t have restaurants. If you prefer parking facilities and cozy restaurants by the sea in combination with fine sand, Cala Romamtica is the beach for you. I’m always drawn back there. In winter, you can enjoy the peace and quiet here and it’s easy to combine with short hikes.

The journey inwards on the island*
If you want to use your vacation time to discover not only things worth seeing, but also yourself, you are always welcome here. Yoga, meditation, Reiki energy work, stress reduction programs, couples’ retreats and much more await you at your desired location.
